Hello and welcome to Slow Collage,
I’m so glad you’re here.
This is a quiet space for analogue collage, abstract paper textures, and slow art moments. I share simple processes, small experiments, and the gentle rhythm of creating by hand.
I’m a Chinese mother and graphic designer in my late 30s, living in New Zealand. Between family life and creative work, collage has slowly become my way of pausing - a way to return to feeling, to light, to the quiet details that are easy to miss.
Most of my work begins with emotion rather than a fixed plan. I follow colour, shape, and intuition, letting each piece unfold in its own time. Sometimes the process feels uncertain, but it is always honest.
Through this blog - and through my videos - I hope to share more of that journey. Not only the finished artwork, but also the thoughts, questions, and small discoveries along the way.
Thank you for spending a little time here. I hope this space feels calm, open, and gently inspiring.
More slow art soon.
Otis
